Our Mission
Our Beginning
Land Speed Record, LLC (LSR) was co-founded by two long time college friends Ivan Gundersen and Charles "Chuck" Johnston, after thinking there must be away for multiple riders to break the Land Speed Record (83.13 mph at the time held by a single rider) under human power. After years of discussions while riding the trails, streets, and rivers of Southern California, Ivan and Chuck made it their goal to break the record!
